At the moment i have a large litter tray which is full of hay and a bowl of pellets. Beside the tray are two water bottles.
Ive heard some people say that the racks are easier and the pigs prefer them, so what are the pros / cons with hay racks?

Both! I have a litter tray that has a hay rack in it - that way they can, but the rest of the cage is untouched.
Eating to avoid any bickering.

She used to 'sing' on the litter tray i realised puppy training pads are great to put under a litter tray to catch the well intended the litter tray....
I'll do a staged switch, and she may prefer it .

I posted a thread a while back about whether to get our two girls a litter tray or not and im still not sure whether they would use it-although it would be good if they did.

I've been using Catsan for about 18 years now - gosh, just imagine how many litter trays I have cleaned out in that time and how much Catsan I have gone through

Any ideas to get litter training back from the dead?
Dusty and Willow have stopped using it and making a huge mess of their big hutch. They've been littertrained in hutch for 1.5 yrs. Started getting wee in one different corner of hutch, moved tray accordingly...

Rubbing the poor to leave the litter tray accessible for them both at all times.
It goes to the toilet and if it can't find its litter tray it will go anywhere.
