Drive Strut Bushings How do you get the old drive strut bushings out? I want to put in the better ones! Is there an easy way?

I know there are few vendors offering the struts with upgraded bushings at? Bushing or bearing.
And does anyone have the number for Kintec? Regarding the bushings, try and use a drill press and keep a couple spares on hand.

Maybe a weird question but do the bushings on the leaf springs need the metal sleeve inside or can you use a bolt the size of the inside diameter of the bushings
if i can i plan getting a bolt that is smooth throughout the length of the bushings

i just had to drill out the bushing a little bit
the yota bushings i got from desert rat, the 1.5 the sleeve enables you to grease them with a zerk on the end of the bolt.

I've always hated new bushings and I skate my bushings till they get all cracked and what not. In a few easy steps, you'll be swerving around making those easy turns in no time!

The poly for the bushings and DOM Tubing sleeves are on their way, I will recommend applying a little generic grease to the OD of the bushing.
I ordered all of the materials.

Does anybody have knowledge of what bushings are sold today (from any manufacturer)?
The ones I use are from the early 80's and they seem to be in a poor state.
I still use my old Tracker mids on one board and would needs some new bushings for that board...

They are out of soft inner ones, but still have mediums and stiffs .

Control arm bushings? Hey!
As I approach the end of my improvement/modifications wishlist, one thing I've never done, are the 23 year old rotting control arm bushings.
They're dense rubber, so they haven't come apart totally, like some other brands' fluid...

Looking for thoughts on these soft grey bushings vs the black hard ones. For the most part I drive pretty easy on the car. Once in a while I get on it but more interested in saving gas. Only looking at the bushings to get rid of the rear knock sound.
