I have a question for those of you with middle schoolers. My oldest is ready to start Apologia General Science and we're soon starting RtR which has lots of neat science. I realize she'll get much out of the RtR science but I also know it's time for her...

Why do some little kids have fit muscular bodies? I noticed that some little kids (6-8 yrs old) appear to have very muscular and well-shaped, defined
bodies (esp. arms). They kind of look like little Popeye's walking around. Why is that? Is it just genetic...
