Remember when live albums were apart of every bands catalog? I for one love hearing all the added parts extended solos.. my top 5 favorites

In recent years and in some cases long ago, many albums have been performed in their entirety during a concert. The Who's Tommy (was Underture ever included?) in 1969-70, 1989, Roger Daltrey's tour last year; Quadrophenia in 1973 (IIRC), 1996 and 1997...

A buddy of mine had a couple tickets to see a classic album live concert last so he invited me to tag along. It was a Led Zepplin IV album tribute. I have to say it was very well done. The guitar player and the drummer were smokin as was every one else...

I love being at concerts actually. As I said, you're part of the atmosphere. You get a rush from that. Plus you get to see bands you love perform right in front of you. That is not the same as earphones.
