I live in Cronulla I want to get some live bait for beach fishing is there any where around here that you can collect livies either cast netting or jigging , I am restricted to land based

Thinking about going to Carters with my brother mon.
Is there anywhere on the way to the lake to buy live bait ( shad,blue backs or trout)
Or does anyone know a decent place to start throwing the net at daybreak to catch some?

In Rhode Island, we snell all of our live bait hooks.
I just add one more wrap before coming back through .
There are different kinds but I like this the most .
I use a loop know with live bait.
