I am planning a ride from North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada to Sturgis. The trip will take me about 4 days and 4400 Km (2700 mi).
I haven't ridden much outside Nova Scotia or Newfoundland except to Laconia last year so the roads, weather, wildlife, traffic...

Although I go to Laconia and Daytona during bike week each year, I don't really hang out in the towns. I'll go to the events for maybe one day to check out the bikes, go to the races, and go riding.

Just thinking it has been a while and even though "black" bikes are now common place, I liked the Sturgis models. Maybe the MoCo is overdue to release a new Sturgis model as it has been a while ? Could be any model in "Sturgis" style ?

I've made a big hole in my work schedule in August and decided to go to Sturgis for the first part of the rally. It'll be over 1500 miles and I plan to do them on the bike.
How bad do hotel accommodations get the closer you get to Sturgis...

Good luck man that sounds awesome I live in northern Nj compared to all the other prices I saw listed.
To Sturgis and has the best hotel selection, IMO.

Just heard last night that Sturgis....
Hmmm from the Seattle area.
They have thier own live bands, etc.
Camping for the 3 day Stomp is $50.
That said of Salmon Arm.

That it is basically like port-a-johns) started a little beach this past year, live bands, Coyote Ugly Girls, Bar on the hill with live bands, an all you can eat buffet in the mornings for about 10 bucks doing Sturgis I like staying....
