Ottawa is more 'english' and has lovely parks.
Sorry, but after having lived in Ottawa and Montreal in that it's very french and both have a lot of history.
You more of a feel for French culture.

But the food is very good and has alright prices (and doesn't hurt that I live above it essentially) +1 HK style restaurants in Ottawa), even better than the majority of Chinese restaurants in Toronto.

Absolutely amazing with them? Never heard of them.
Best option in Ottawa is Advanced Autowerks in Nepean (149 Bentley I believe).
