My new house (in the process of purchasing) has a small eat-in kitchen. And I mean SMALL. The "dining room" is in the basement, which makes no sense. I can't see myself carrying food down a flight of stairs. I think they just call it a dining room because...

I tried to send some ideas...I was lost what to do in that long living room.
But I like "elegant" also lolol...Just not black or purple etc not in living room.

I am going for a somewhat formal/modern/elegant look in our living room. The room does not house the tv... we'll use it for hanging out/reading, entertaining, etc...

On the size of your living room; this chandelier looks kinda small and it may not look right if your room is huge.
