Manchester's fantastic bursary scheme. What would you do?
So I qualify for Manchester's bursary schemes, generous they are. I'm more concerned just about the first year. I'd get £1,000 cash. And then either £2,000 off tuition fees (meaning I'd pay £7...

Plus, you are unlikely to ever pay off your full student loan, and it will get in the form of student ....
It away in a high interest bearing account, which often give you more in interest than your SFE loan interest will cost you.

Even so, I agree.
Not certain, but I think SFE may have started to means-test loans on
parental income for the year before be worth asking
if someone higher-up in SFE (or NUS?) actually knows.

*lots of hugs* Hi, I've heard nothing....
You heard back from SFE about the letter you sent?
You used to be able to download the change of circumstance form but I think you now have to ask SFE to send it to you if you want to change SFE.

Re to spend £6,000 for a foundation degree that would be an entire student loan from a bank, don't suppose.
Applied to study a degree with a foundation year, and SFE will cover the foundation year.

The maintenance loan as my qualification is lower, but no tuition fee loan as I've exhausted my student funding are entitled to the fee loan and potentially maintenance grant for the top-up.

Student finance:
Firstly; I presume if you are using SFE (as I had to) you are looking to do the full two years? This is because SFE will only offer the loaned funding if the full degree is to be carried out.
