We are going on the Carnival Glory and would like a lobster lunch at one of the ports?
What restaurant would you recommend and which port: Portland, Halifax or St John?

Enjoy yourI can't for life of me remember where we had fabulous lobster lunch outside in St Johns near Portland.
Further away, Portland Lobster Company and DiMillo's are an easy walk from your cruise ship.

there are plenty of resturants with walking distance from the tender dock, if you walk....

You'll have to take a taxi there and back, but Anthony's Seafood is worth the trip dock.

Teanne Another vote for Matthew's Lobster in front of the Bucuti if you want a casual meal.

So I've been to DLR countless times (spent 20 years in the Bay, 5 years in West LA) but have always eaten junk food or whatever happens to be fast. Usually too tired to care. But heading down this weekend...

If you want to walk you can but although it is visible from the ship it is still a good way especially while walking....
Just go over the bridge, walk a little way from the ship.
Can also browse while walking on the outskirts of town.

Would like to know if there are restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc within walking distance of Infinity Bay. Or do we need to take a water taxi? Does anyone have a map of the area with restauants and resorts on it?

First of all....
I would say you could walk the entire length of West Bay, from Infinity walk.
Just a walk down the beach.
West Bay is very small and everything is really close .
And bars within walking distance of Infinity Bay.

I found for me that walking was a great way to get some exercise without it being to stressful on the body.
Your muscles just don't want to cooperate how frustrating that can be .

Face and lower arms are red as a lobster from 4 days of walking in the sun. Doesn't seem painful so no big deal.
