Local dealer is nuts! Went to my local dealer today to get valve shims for my KLR. On the floor was a well used 2007 M50. Obviously had been outside for some time. Lots of rust and corrosion on the bolts, fork tubes and the seat was faded and cracked....

So I went to the Yamaha dealer today to get a look at a 2000i generator in action. It's a nice little machine and is pretty quiet while running and is easily portable(will fit in my trunk).
So once the salesman starts talking price he mentions it costs...

So what if you take a Lexus to a Toyota dealer to get the oil changed, or a Acura to a Honda dealer or in my case an Infiniti to a Nissan dealer.
Are the records in one central system? Would that satisfy warranty concerns etc?
