I have recently setup a UC540 with SPA508 handsets and am looking for a way to alter the ring tone to differentiate between external calls and internal calls - is this possible?

Maybe the fourth and the octave are the first.
So you get a fourth from a tone to a slap too.
The biggest difference between slap and tone you can (I will focus on the octave from now on, thanks djembefeeling.

Would a two tone harness be acceptable for pleasure and welsh shows you think? I wouldnt be entering a turn-out class with it, and it's not going to look very nice with my cart with the patent dash and fenders and not have a lick of patent on my harness...

Have you ever experienced a situation where you have no ringback tone when you call a number that is routed through Session Manager? We have CM 5.2 and Session Manager 6. I'm routing a call from CM, to Session Manager and then over to our Microsoft OCS...

See if that helps.
In FXO - Loop Start (FXOLS) lines.Please ensure that the correct CP Tone is applied on the voice-port the correct CP Tone and shut / no shut the port(s).
