It isn't anything to be concerned with, birth control makes your periods extremely lighter... .
I have also experienced bleeding brown lightly in between periods which never happened to me before .

You need to see your gynecologist soon.
But you are on birth control.
I suggest the morning after pill.
Because you are bleeding and you have complications with your cervix there is still a chance of getting pregnant .
