Not sure if this is exactly site help and suggestions I seem to have some weird logging in and out status between my phone and my computers.
I tend to bop between the laptop, desktop and phone. Young family...yadda, yadda, I always tend to log out whenever...

This question is similar, but kind of the opposite of what I want. I want external USB drives to be mounted automatically at boot, without anyone logged in, to locations like /media/<label> .
I don't want to have to enter all the data into fstab...

Udev Rules Since UDEV lets us write rules and run | grep -v grep` # done #... .
So when you log into GNOME and insert a CD or plug to have to log in to get the benefits of automounting.

Several times already, after I haved logged out (asus netbook, os meego, browser chromium) and shut down, and I re-start the computer after 23 hours, I'm still/again??? logged in into AFF.
Is that a Chromium bug?

In Windows XP Professional, each of our family members are listed as icons at startup. Is there a way to have the system change the monitor resolution based on the family member? For example, if 'Dad' is clicked have it render 1028 x 768, if 'Mom' logs...
