G7 is rather sporadic. Sometimes it is seen as a generic Logitech mouse, sometimes not showing up
chances are yes, im running a trust mouse made for a PC, most a the dedicated buttons wont work

I can't answer the other question, but the weights are to weigh the mouse down to your individual
preference. There's a plastic insert on the underside of the mouse that pops out where you can insert

Its the 4th year of me abusing my G5. I've had this guy since my Freshman year in college and well
, the laser receptor is getting a little wobbly. And I probably haven't changed the weights in it for 2
and the internal wire started to break through it.
The mouse still works fairly well as long as I don't move

Just got my new Logitech G5 Laser Mouse in today from new egg. I hooked it up, installed
the drivers, and weighted the sucker down with some 4.5g weights. It's an AWESOME MOUSE!
I really like
on the X/Y axis independantly.
4 small orange LEDs on the mouse indicate which custom dpi setting

The supplied Apple mouse is not great for gaming or 3D so I bought a Logitech G5 Laser Mouse...
as I dont use all the extra functions, all I really needed was a nice comfortable mouse with separate
That mouse is not designed for Apple at all. I used the G5 in CoD4 on PC and never had an issue
