I need to use InstallUtil to install a C# windows service. I need to set the service logon credentials (username and password). All of this needs to be done silently.
Is there are way to do something like this:
installutil.exe myservice.exe /customarg...

Is there a way I can capture the passwords or hashes being used by a "dictionary attack" against my ssh server?
I would like to see what they are trying, to be able to better guard against it.

It will show the actual password, not the hash kbrandt@localhost's password....
I think this will probably slow the ssh daemon down .
The 'incorrect' password of a legitimate user, and you might have picked up a password he uses .

Would logging on to Windows Server 2008 without entering a password compromise it's security services too much to be desirable? If not, how might I be able to do this?

You probably need to allow the script to be executed by changing the permissions to 755 .

If any mechanism exists it is likely to be in WMI effective method.

Is there a way to have Windows 7 show the classic logon prompt instead of the welcome screen? I'd prefer to have the users type in their username/password as opposed to it showing all the users' names/icons
