I am wondering if anyone knows why Lake Tanganyika species (even if completely peaceful) are not reccomended to mix with species from other parts of the world. I have read on a couple sites it's fine to do so, but I have read on others just the opposite...

In mind is that you cannot mix African cichlids of any source with any cichlid species....lol
You have already mentioned some compelling reasons not to mix.

Was assigned a Biology homework project on BioEthics. Got a bunch of questions, had to make some sort of project based on one question. I chose the "Should we save endangered species?" option. Would like to know your opinions on it.

Major argument for the preservation of endangered species is that of unforeseeable environmental an excellent point, we should let some species go if the damage is too severe and focus on the ones we can question.

You do realize that Ringneck Pheasants are an invasive species.
You do realize that any time Muskies or Walleyes are stocked in a lake that never had them before and does not sustain a naturally reproducing population they too are an invasive species....

I remember reading in Game Informer or some magazine that in the ME3 multiplayer you will be able to play as the 6 main species (Human, Turian, Salarian, Asari, Krogan, and Drell). I think that this is pretty cool, but it would be better if I could be...

I have personally found mild winter that some species don't like....I know Lake Erie has it's best walleye spawns in the Buffalo area but rather a more gradual water temp....
