In London ....but thats expensive .! Forget the Tube, take a taxi to Paddington (from Euston probably 20 to Euston earlier, or fly later? It depends, some interntational flights expect you to be at check in 3.

Euston opens around 0435, just after the first train of the day from Milton Keynes central arrives.
Travel so early Euston is not open to the public 24 hours a day - it's usually shut between 0200 and 0500.

So I've found myself catching the Liverpool to Birmingham service quite a few times the past few weeks. Every time the train has "turned into" the Birmingham to Euston stopper.
I'm wondering why this isn't advertised as Liverpool to Euston. The waiting...

I have just tried out this WCML Scenario from Graham Newell. If you have a fair amount of payware this must be one of the most outstanding experiences to be had in Railworks so far. There are trains everywhere. The run out of Glasgow is just amazing...

I doubt the fares would be significantly higher for black cabs from the rank at Euston.
It's difficult for private cabs to pick up at Euston - though you could call and see where they might do this.
