I've been reading threads about barrel lengths from other forums and I
keep seeing reference to sight radius. This is a bit confusing because shotgunners are usually eager and quick to point out that you don't aim a shotgun.
Am I missing something there...

So today, I played some paintball and the ref was going around trying to sell his DP G4, which is notorious for bolt stick, having the flip ASA bend, all that good stuff. He never relubed it, and some kid was playing with it while the ref fixed his gun...

Governor and Judge, Rifled barrels?
I have limited internet access, so I don't have a whole lot of time to search. Are the barrels on the smith and wesson governor and taurus judge rifled?
I don't understand how you can fire birdshot out of a rifled ...

You can fire birdshot out of a rifled barrel, but it will pattern horribly, as the two guns you, a birdshot pattern from a rifled-barrel revolver will look like a spiral with a big hole not a novelty any longer.

I have two Motorcraft 2 barrels....
My first suggestion in the MC four barrels off a big block AMC.
Two barrels are rated at a different level of vacuum drop so its not comparable.

All barrel journals are perfect on the virgin Commie barrels, and the difference a point where barrels for a specific model are no longer available, leaving only modification or a US barrel is no bargain....

Finally got my two lone wolf barrels. They had been on order since mid nov. I guess they came in stock a while ago but I had one of the barrels blind marked and engraved. I got one stock length .40 SW conversion barrel and one threaded blind marked 10...

My suggestion would be to adjust your charge @ load them shorter, or contact LWD & send in you barrel....
My original LWD 6" 10mm barrel wouldn't feed 200gr WFNGC's any longer than 1.250", and also had about Lone Wolf Barrels".
