I made an attempt to replace my rotors but my first attempt to loosen the retainer screws was a failure. should I use an impact gun or do I need someone to help me with applying the brakes while trying to loosen them? any advise would be appreciated...

Soldering iron works for me Rested the soldering iron on the grub screw, and it doesn't seem.
If you get your hex driver hot and then hold it in the grub screw it should unstick Or a soldering iron.
