I'd like to connect equipment to a coaxial surge protector. Is it needed for a properly grounded coaxial cable? How much attenuation does a typical coaxial surge protector cause over the range of frequencies it will pass?

Crank signal from CAS: Grey shielded wire to ms.
Solder a length of wire to a 0.1 uF capacitor, and connect this capacitor .

Actually looks like it fits: IF the turn signal is not working I sometimes try the emergency button and 'bingo' hit/miss the errant turn signal works.
It may only be for the horn and airbag.
