What bullet would you use to deer hunt when using a .357? I have a Taurus revolver that I need to shoot a deer with.

It will work but you have limited range and proper of a 357 Herrett and 357 maximum and the xtp... .
If I were to use a 357 for deer I would run 180 Hardcast WFNs to insure penetration and keep defense round but is on the light side for deer.

About your only other option would be to put....
Try some tankage or deer repellant.
It has worked for me.
Tenderloin on deer are good year round Shave some Irish spring bar soap with a cheese grater, then put in old sock tie it to the trees.

Is catching of deer in nets allowed in Georgia? (or in any state?) I mean running it into nets and then dispatching of it?
Apparently this used to be a way of catching deer while dogging.
Any info appreciated!

I have been trying to give my deer something more nutritious than corn but they won't eat anything else. For about 6 weeks now I have been trying to get my deer to eat Purina Deer chow and they won't touch it. I have tried it by itself, mixed with corn...

Though it's no doubt a high-quality feed, I've always found Purina's deer grub to be dry, dusty-y, but deer love them....
Also, right now the deer have lots of fresh browse and it probably is not the best time to try.
With corn.
