Ok, I've managed to find some of my JAs under the standing water from all the rain we've had. I know I haven't managed to get them all though... will they all just grow/flower/get tubers next year automatically?

We had a JA and hazlenut soup from the Riverford cookbook the other day and it was delicious! I LOVE JAs, and they look so pretty too.
I love the flavour.

I grow them too, earwigs love to hide in mine, YUCK! When you.
Well they might return the next year.

Also known as Sunchokes I have been reading up on these, and they sound pretty interesting. I would like to try growing some, but not really sure which ones are the best eating ones....seems the more round, white, less nubby ones are most used to eat?...

They do spread can cook them like a potato (roast, mash with potatoes, soups etc), pigs love them, they grow like.

Make it with marinated artichokes or canned or frozen with some vinagrette.

Another advantage to cooking them upside down is that it is easier to poke the bottom .
Add about 1/2 inch of water and a nice slice of the artichokes.
The artichokes, just put them into the container.
