My African Violets lose their bottom leaves and end up with a long stem sticking up with growth on top.? Look kinda like a "palm tree". I have really pretty good luck w/plants and start a number from cuttings successfully but I can't seem to keep them...

Of everyone's answer was that an African Violet will lose their bottom leafs if those leafs touch the rim in a sink or bowl for no more then ten minutes and use an African Violet fertilizer you add every time at least an hour later.

I'm bummed too, I loved this book.
I loved this book! I will agree it was very hard to connect with the main character, but i feel her character is someone you see a lot of in this world.
This makes me so sad.
