Does anybody start swimming in high school without any prior swimming experience? I know how to swim and I'm not bad but I've never been on a swim team before so I'm not sure if its too late to start.

I am a cyclist and I would like to like to strengthen my skills in other sports . I am interested in perhaps getting more into swimming and maybe eventually competing in triathlons. I am curious if anyone knows the standard length and time of a swim session...

So at what age are y'all taking your baby into a pool. I have read that they cannot regulate their body temperature until 6 months. Lily will be 7 months in May and we live in NC so its really decent swimming weather by that time. Is 7 months too young...

We're going to take J to the beach/pool when he's about 10 months, so we'll do a swimming and me swim classes at the Y start....
Most public swim classes start at 6 months.
Just keep bathtime fun so that LO will be happy .
