I'm so sure I have seen a workout designed this way or does it have some kind of name? Basically you cycle it, So say for week on you will go heavy weight with low reps, week 2 will be high reps with light weight and then week 3 medium weight with medium...

I've been weight training at home for a few months now,and along with eating more I have put on over half a stone.
I started firstly with high reps (10-12),and then started doing lower reps(4-6) with heavier weight.

To my knowledge, the muscles will be no harder whether somebody takes on a high or low rep put on over half a stone.

I kinda got lost in you post, but you seem to have a good grasp on pull-ups so going 3 sets of 6 of weighted pull-ups would be the next step up with 2-5 rests in between pullup ladder .

Lift heavy.
Lifting heavy is the way to go.
To get the benefits of ST you have to lift heavy/lower reps to build muscle otherwise you'll.
