Lowering gas prices help get country back on track?
My thought is if they would just lower gas prices down to 1/2 of what they are now say $1.50/gal the country would get back on track much faster.
People would spend more on food, toys, cloths fun stuff...

When Bush took office (2000) gas prices were $1.46 - when he left office (2008) gas prices were $1.79
When Obama took office (2008) gas prices were $1.79 - Currently they are $3.58

So, with the trend of gas prices dropping, should I wait until Friday to fill up? Or should I fill up today, because gas prices always go up for holiday travel?
I have seen prices as low as $3.32 so far, it sure is a relief from the $4.00 gas a few months...
