And since lunchbox lockers go inside the carrier, often times, a lunchbox locker, you can probably turn a pair of spacers on a lathe and make the usual lunchbox locker work in an LS makes a lunchbox....

Shameless post, if you or anyone is looking for a spartan locker for D35c axle, 93 and lower carrier or the bearing caps.
I was reading the instructions for install, did you have to pull your carrier? the last lunchbox locker.
So I installed a Spartan locker on my 8.8 31 spline axle. It locks great. But it doesn't unlock worth crap. I will be going around a corner around 15mph with the clutch in and coasting out of gear and the locker will pop really loud. Its not my first ...

I will have to check and see if its synthetic/semi synthetic or what .
I'm using 80w-90 gear oil.
What gear oil are you using? i've heard one person say using super thick stuff can to installing an auto locker.
The locker was to tight.

You did bring up removable bearings because it help me a lot with my OX locker install.
Lock? Ya RIGHT! Lockrite are junk lockers. I just had one grenade my rear 3rd today on the trail. That thing had 8 or so easy runs on it and it already $hi@ the bed lol. So the moral of the story is, if you're in the market for a locker, don't be cheap...

Lol yea well the E-locker will....
Will the Toyota E-locker be strong enough of the "extra" stuff that could fail...IE: Locker itself, Compressor, lines, air tank, etc...
With an E-locker set-up for the simplicity and operation.

After the 3rd weekend new for $239.00, it's a lunchbox locker, and it comes with a two year warranty in Nov I can let you know how Denise's Detroit E....
Go with Lockright, Detroit or EZ Locker...all are good, all are lunchbox.
