I too had lung cancer as a secondary I was being scanned....
Lots of Stage I-IV survivors there.
I will have it removed after my follow up lung scan is clear and I have my colonoscopy in April of 2012 on the Ispire web site also.

I went to see the radiation oncologist today. He is part of my MD Anderson team. He was very convincing that a very new radiation would kill the tumors I have in both my lungs. It would be non-invasive and require 4-5 treatments each about an hour long...

VATS is pretty surgery down the road if ....
I had two VATS four months apart.
I was in the doctor's office for at least an hour and he showed me pictures of my PET scan and exactly mentioned what type of lung surgery you would be having.

I just had a CT scan a few weeks ago and I am thrilled to say it was negative! Since September 2, I was diagnosed September....
Then once a year course of radiation.
And they will give me a pet scan every six months for the first two years.

Please pray for my son. He's been battling bronchitis for a few weeks. Today we went to the hospital and are told that it's probably lung cancer. 75% of his lung shows a mass. He's currently in CAT scan waiting to see if it's anywhere else. Please pray...

Got my CT done.. mets to my lungs =(
Got my results yesterday from my CT scan. My doctor was actually pretty 'surprised' with the results. The ct showed spread (multiple areas..) into both lungs, with the larger mass around 8mm. :( What was surprising...
