Hi all, Yesterday had CT and Bone scan. I just finished 6 months of Taxotere. Tumor on my liver has shrunk and bones look stable. They did find fluid around my lung (pleural effusion) but no obvious shadow or lesions or thickening of the wall of my lungs...

My Dad's lung cancer....
It is quite common for lung cancer to spread to either the bones or brain.
It is very likely that this is not bone cancer but lung cancer that has spread to his bones.
So sorry that your Dad is in so much pain .

April 26, 2012 - 11:16am Well just returned from MD Anderson yesterday from follow up scan & showed lung mets have shrunk alot (2 almost gone) but other 5 are visible. Onc said was going to meet with a surgeon there to discuss removing whats left.

At my first CT scan in DecemberI had a PET/CT scan in September and the CT showed small 5mm nodules in my right middle lobe I had a 4mm nodule on my lung that....
I wonder if something showing up on the lung is fairly common.

Do any of you ladies with mets to lungs have symptoms? I don't know if my asthmas is really bad or is my nodes are getting bigger. Kind of winded after doing stairs but not when just walking. Feels like a tightness in my lungs that needs to be loosened...

Many BCO women told me that they had a bad cough and SOB, some thought due to lung Ca some IV, Grade 3, mets, ER+, HER2- Chemotherapy....
He made it clear that it could% better.
To see the ct scan and I asked if the white spots could be cancer.

Nicole I am no doctor - but I have done lots of research on Nodules - from what I have read - most lung nodules are benign Benign ear cyst or tumor
Benign positional vertigo . I would not worry - sounds like you doctor is right - beneign lung nodules ...

Ginger Well I just got the results of my second scan of the 4mm nodule on my lower right lung Friday May 14th was told....
Or both.
So I will have another ct scan.
That there was a 50% chance of lung collapse with those biopsies.
