I called about this willys jeep engine I found and the guy told me it was a military crate motor. I said ok well I'm on my way. I bought it up, and it has a strange fuel pump and the down draft ys carb. All the oil line areas and water temp gauge spots...

Does anybody know if it is possible to drop a F134 engine that came factory in a CJ, into an M38A1 and still maintain the originality of the M38. The donor engine appears to be about the same year as the M38a1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. SFC...

I was wondering if anyone know's who sells the 90 degree brass fitting that connects the fuel inlet to the line from the fuel pump. I have the correct YS carb and have rebuilt it but have not had any luck finding a fitting to connect the two. I can't ...

This is a photo of both... .
The large fitting at the top of the bowl us a "Nut" that has houses the fuel that the Elbow is listed in 0306, Fuel Lines and Fittings in the SNL.
What has me confused.

Last summer I picked up this engine to replace the Pinto engine in my 1943 GPW.
The previous owner said it was rebuilt, & appears to be.
I do not know anything about the various years of engines nor what they were put into.
Since it had a T-90 & T/C attached...

I have two complete late 40's CJ-2a engines for sale. One has the tranmission cover, distributer and coil attached. The other has a fuel pump. Both have the clutch, intake manifolds, water pumps, etc. Great deal for someone; I recommend either be rebuilt...

Can't complain too to having a mechanic for a father (who growing up rebuilt Jeeps and still has his '53 M38 A1.
