Hello,
Does anyone know which brand of screw mount M42 is very good to use in combination with a Takumar 200mm f: 4 lens?
I have a Pentax K-r camera.
I read some documentation and some reviews on internet.
I understood that are some bad quality adapters...

That's ....
I bought a separate M42 adapter for every screwmount by GabrielS.
For an Pentax M42 adapter genuine Pentax adapter will never steer you wrong.
That's like 100 euro.
Shipped to Europe will cost me 120 bucks..

Should I go for it? I have a minolta x-300s of my father. I like the lightness of the camera. Have a few m42 lens, since I have a hanimex, from a 300mm pentax to a 1.4 revenon, etc.
So, should I buy a adapter to use in a more light and possibly accurate...

I have one to keep the M42 auto aperture....
But if you like m42, go for it, and buy the one made of brass, it's hard.
I use it with my m42, I'm not sure.
Yes, I have a X370, and I've just got my adapter today after 1 months waiting.

I'm slowly teaching myself CAD, so I thought I would tackle an adapter to convert the Eyemo's Eymax mount to M42. Aluminum versions do exist, but they're exceptionally rare.
So, I just sent this off to get 3D printed, and...

First of all, the cheap adapter to Nikon cannot great with the adapter and M42 lenses but d50 didn't want to work.
I mean if it was a Nikon to M42 adapter instead of EOS.

For sale, this nice Vivitar 200mm f3.5 manual focus legacy lens in M42 screw thread (old Pentax) fitting - together with a M42 to 4/3 (not m4/3) adapter.
The lens carries a 28xxx serial number which means it was made for Vivitar by Komine* (never heard...

I am not interested in the lens, but I just have to say that KOMINE was a very respectable lens maker and most (if not all) of their lenses were wonderful .

I'd like to get something in the 100-to-135mm range that falls into the small, lightweight, high IQ, < $200, 49mm filter category. The Carl Zeiss Jena MC 135mm f/3.5 seems to meet the criteria, but I'm puzzled by the M42 mount, which I've never used...

It's generally pretty secure.
m42 is a really simple adapter like other lenses?
Yes.
Just screw em on firmly but not extremely tight, they will stay on .
