Hi all, I have the option of either going for my Phd in any of our indigeneous schools or travelling abroad to get an MBA in any of the Ivy League schools. I presently have my Msc, so getting admitted wont be an issue. what do you suggest?

MBA is fine (if its actually useful within your career).
But within my area there are tons of people with MD, PhD, MPA, MME, MBA etc there is no reason to put that on there; its assumed.
Put MA behind his name.

I think do it if you feel it is going to turn into a book or better yet, a business plan. It can be useful for speaking and consulting engagements in terms of credibility but not needed for corporate jobs. That is how I sum up the DBA do or not to do....

(7 years sounds a bit too much though, around here PHD's are 4 years although....
The issue with Phd is that it does not give you that "flavor into the research field a PHD is not a valuable career decision.

Just curious any charterholder has a phd? How do you rank the difficulty of completing a CFA with phd? For example, for me, I guess completing CFA is twice as hard as completing my undegrad degree
