Not replacing my mbp buy a mba, only mbp from now on same here, indeed MBA just doesn't meet my needs.
I would not replace my mbp...just get the mba in addition to it.

I've owned both a 13" i7....
BUT If Apple bring out a 15" Air.
My 17" MBP and the Top spec Air, I love the Air, but as things stand (assuming I needed to replace my Pro) I would still opt for the MBP.
At the moment I have both.

I have many friends that have the 13" MBP and I love the higher resolution of the display of my MBA before deciding on the MBP, mainly for the reasons that you are switching to the MBA, oddly!
