Most of these boxers only need to work on grappling and if they got that down of the boxers woul have done well but why should they take up mma when boxers make millions and mixed for mma put him on a defensive....

What are the ups and downs for training in mma? I'm 16 and like to box my freinds and I like to fight. I've ben told sevral time that I should do mma but I was kinda thinking it already. I just want to know what to expect from it the good and the bad....

A school that just teaches MMA understandably....
A lot of what you learn, and what you'll need in MMA, relies on technique.
There's an argument to be made for that, but I respectfully disagree .
Answer here--that you should go straight to MMA.

Anyone else here who uses Jamiesons approach? ( 8 Weeks Out ) I don't know of anyone that uses that approach, but it seems like a pretty basic strength program using the basic lifts .

If not, find a sparing.
Does not have to be MMA, anything will help.
If there is any martial arts class around.
