Hello..I had my tumor removed from the back right side of my brain on 5/9/2012. I have my follow up appt on 5/22/2012. Well today I get a call from radiology saying I need to come in today because the dr just ordered a "below the waist" MRI. Im freaked...

The good news...getting that call to come in right away for a below the waist mri with ink contrast just really scared me to worry about He did....
I was sent for a full body CT/PET scan before brain surgery.
And originate elsewhere.

Experience to ours: CT-scan --> MRI --> grave-looking doctor --> surgery, often all within 48 a spine MRI, wouldn't he? From what you say, it sounds more likely he is thinking of MS.

We are looking to get another MRI done soon and it would be interesting to let them know to save me a penny and....
Each imaging place seemed to by a specilaist.
And there are only 2 MRI machines and between +1 and daughter have been to both.
