To flush the DNS cache in Mac OS X:-
- type -flushcache - Once you run the command....
To flush the DNS cache in Mac OS X Leopard:-
- type lookupd -flushcache the command your DNS cache (in Mac OS X) will flush.

'Advanced' and more detailed technical drawings are most likely in a safe at the Apple HQ .
