The previous version 1.0 used SDBM_File which does come with Perl on Mac OS X (though.
It seems Mac OS X doesn't come with GDBM and therefore haven't built (latest version).

For the SIGIO constant ? I found that an invalid value here in OS X would casue aio_write to fail - soI have code very similar to yours on 10.6.2 (but writing to a file) working without any problems.

This value is set to /bin/bash Nothing to change here .
Change the value for "Login shell" - I use /bin/bash, but you're free to use any installed shell .

When you connect to the internet if set up in the Date/Time Preference... .
When you connected to the internet, the operating system most probably updated the time using NTP .
Most probably the cell that powers your MacBook's internal clock may have drained .

I would encourage you to get and use NetBeans or GlassFish Tools Bundle For Eclipse to start working with Java EE 6 and GlassFish v3.. .

Then try running the emulator from justi'm running 10.6.2, android 2.0.1, eclipse 3.5 with no problems, so must be something on your end the command line and see if that....
I'd return to default os x settings and reinstall the sdk.
