With the new October 2009 MacBook, it seems to be the better machine compared to the 13 inch Macbook Pro (ignoring the looks) ? Am I missing something ?

If you do not need/use some of these features and just going to go with base configurations the Macbook....
Separate audio in/out.
Just the design alone.
Aluminum does not looks as good as the way the combination in macbook looks.

Macbook Pro or Macbook Air? I am in the market for a laptop and have narrowed it down to the macbook pro and macbook air. I am worried that the macbook air will break due to how thin it is but prefer its price over the pro. What is your experience?
