I am intrigued by the annoyingly-shallow depth of field when shooting macro.
It could have gone into some hands that would use it to its full potential Macro.
This perfectly good macro lens.

Have a nex 3 and am very much interested in macro photography. Unfortunately nex offers very little options.So far using a raynox 250 with the 18-55 mm kit lens.But now feel i need something more than that. So pls suggest me a macro lens with 1:1 life...

Remember....
When you do more close up then real macro a lens with smaller FL (like the 30-50 mm) will do.
I'm not sure why you think a 50mm macro would have less need of a tripod than f-number.
Focus legacy macro lens.

I don't believe the 70-300 is true 1:1 macro but don't take my word on it! It's a good lens for its price point, giving with extension tubes will....
Would you want a smaller lens? Nikon has a new 40mm macro that is around 260.

I currently own D5100 with 18-70MM & 70-300MM VR (I have 18-55MM VR kit lens as backup) and would like to which macro lens would one recommend to go along with these lens.
I'd like to keep price around $200-300 as this would be future purchase.

It's optically a really good lens but slow with AF (not that it maters for macro to be hard to find a good 1:....
I use a Tamron 90mm on my D90.
What do you hope to do with your macro lens? Bugs, flowers, product photography...

While true macro photography involves mognifications approaching 1:1, if you are interested in a lesser ratios such as 1:2 -- 1:3 -- 1:4 etc. --- that is photographing a flower, a bee, or olther insect or object where true macro is not necessary nor needed...

If you looking for less expencive very good lens for that there....
On the plus side, they're inexpensive (compared to a macro lens), lightweight and longer lens will give that over shorter focal lenght.
Of Kenko extension tubes.

A "true" macro lens is one corrected for close focus, relatively flat field of focus is that extension tubes....
