I made up a tester today and a plug for the tip. i took the maf out and connected the tester, blocked off the the pcv system on from the tip and removed throttle body hose and blanked off. i also took off the oil cap.

The same as I'd do at work but we a a smoke tester for boost leakes if you get stuck come see us to be fair so if you can't here any air leaking out your boost pipes frome the intake to the boost side to in the inlet....

Hi, Recently my car has felt a little sluggish although not underpowered to a point that im worried about something serious.
On my boost gauge i've noticed im making about a solid 10 (or just over) peak and then it will start to drop down to about 5 psi...

Dont forget to plug it back you can see instantly if you have a boost leak sorry for sound quakity and cellotape rustling thats all i had to hand.
Unplug the maf sensor, drive the car, if all feels ok you got a leak.

I'm wondering if this is normal airflow for a completely stock MY11 Sti:
MAF flow: 280g/s
Load: 2,8g/s
RPM: 6000rpm
Boost: 0,99 bar = appr. 14,5psi
Injector DC: 92 %
Also, is there any other STi owner who can post a WOT log here? Or tell me their...

10-15% more MAF flow than him even though he had 5-15% more....
Concern is if the airflow is to high even with stock boost, there might be a leak where some 10-20 from the same ROM and car type, he had made his own tune and I had appr.

This is part of my gimmick inlet, not the boost leak tester the Boost Leak Test:
1) Disconnect and plug the bottom hose on the purge control solenoid
2) Remove to the turbo correct....

12.96 @ 116.36 If it runs decent with MAF unplugged, either your wiring is wrong or the MAF itself is bad.

Is there any bad running the maf on the coldside pipe of ic opposed to the compressor housing of turbo ? Wouldnt it be cooler readings?

Placing it too close to the TB could potentially caused the engine to run the MAF.
*Sarcasm delay for the MAF reading.
Engineered the MAF to enjoy getting oil flinged at it as well as seeing BOOST up its asshole.

After many hours searching I have come to the concluesion that this is the best Maf on the market
