Ruger Single Six Cylinders Question People are selling single six cylinders ( both 22/LR & 22 Magnum) on ebay. Are these cylinders interchangeable with any single six? :confused:

I believe the convertible single-sixes have the last 3 numbers of the serial number engraved... .
Revolver cylinders often require a bit of hand fitting.

cylinders, and I've shot my single six with other cylinders without any issue.
I have a Ruger GP100 that usually leaves some lead behind after a session at the range-primarily in the cylinders-some worse than others but none real bad. What about trying to polish the cylinders? What I have on hand is some crocus cloth and Mother'...

I shoot those in the 44 Magnum with 10.5 gr of HS-6 behind a 260 gr boolit and get or 44 Magnum for whatever the reason....
I don't know the velocity need for pistols.

.22 magnum revolver I recently inherited an RG 66 revolver. It originally had 2 cylinders. One for 22 LR, the other for 22 magnum. I'm looking for the 22 magnum cylinder and am having trouble finding one. Any help would be appreciated.

There are/have been several revolvers fitted with two cylinders to accomodate both rounds.
To begin, the 22 magnum(22WRM) case won't fit in a 22lr chamber and the 22lr will split if fired in a magnum chamber(if it fires at all).

I can see that the barrel is pinned, I am guessing that the cylinders recessed? All three.
