Sometimes, mail can end up in spam if it triggers too many warnings for whatever spam-filtering software the e-mail account provider is using.
Check your spam folder on the other accounts.

You could d/l the Windows Live Mail client , which is free, and seems to do what you want....
That should do what you want.
You can setup all your other accounts within GMail so multiple identities.
I suggest you use google gears for GMail.

There's no reason for a password-changing....
User-driven password changes allow users to select passwords they find memorable, change passwords when they suspect their boyfriend / girlfriend / mother is spying on them, etc .
I think you're being too paranoid.

It's low-tech (and cludgy) but if your goal is to see who's logged on and when, that's available in System Manager under administrative groups[org_name]\servers[server_name]\first storage group\mailbox store\logons
