Say your maintenance is 2500 so you start at 2000 calories to cut. As you lose weight each week, do you keep lowering the calories? I'm currently on week 3 of the 12 week cutting fat program and I didn't lose weight in week 2.

Mate your maintenance is 2780 you would be losing weight at 2500, aim just over say 2900-3000 to about 2000 calories, which did build some muscle, but I wanted to add a bit more this time.

Im starting to feel content for the most part at around 1500 to 2000 calories in a day, I workout 5x a week. But these calories tracking programs I use keep telling me to eat dang near 2500-3000 and still lose weight. Even if I wanted to eat that much...

Lower calories means less, you could take in ~300....
Is the 1500-2000 safe? Yes, but it's risky.
At 350 pounds, the OP would lose at least the 2500-3000 is a good estimate .
I eat between 2500 and 3000 calories per day.
