Malteser cake recipy if anyone wants to try it out. 150gr soft brown sugar, 100gr caster sugar, 3 large eggs, 175ml milk, 15gr unsalted butter, 2tbspn horlicks powder, 175gr plain flour, 25gr cocoa sieved, 1teaspn baking powder, 1/2 teaspn baking soda...

I don't think mine will be as good looking as yours... .
I will give this recipe a go during the week as a surprise for the kids and dh .
Finally a cake this week that isnt a disaster cant vouch for the cake as yet but the malteaser cake.

I love how you used the malted milk....
But this is my first 2 layer cake and quite frankly the more frosting the better! I would probably use half that amount frosting, because I like cake way more than I like frosting, but that looks pretty.
