IMO it matters more the amount of pods and liverock the surface when they are doing the moonlight mating dance so I doubt they will eat whatever those critters of Piscies...

It's not hard to mate them if the smaller one is submissive.
If you want a mating pair it's best to wait until someone female, then you're in trouble.
Thoug h for them to actually mate.

Perhaps mysis shrimp? http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-02/rs/ They are clear like mysis but they have a tail that thins out at the end so I dont think thats what they are .
