well i'm back, and i have a few questions about those amazing fish. i know mandarins require these special foods, and i've got a few questions. I've noticed small, wormlike creatures crawling on my live rock where there's lots LOTS ...

IMO it matters more the amount of pods and liverock the surface when they are doing the moonlight mating dance so I doubt they will eat whatever those critters of Piscies...

I love this fish it is absolutely gorgeous and by far my favorite fish...
i'll start by telling you my setup.. please be nice :)
i have a 46 bow front w/a HOB filter, two powerheads and about 40 lbs live rock..
it has been up and running for about 8 months...

Hey, I've had 3 Mandarins in my tank for almost a month now, 1 Red, 1 Green, and 1 Spotted... The tank is well established and is a 300 gallon aquarium.. It has a very deep sandbed in the refugium.. Do I ever need to worry about feeding these guys anything...

Tanks are also old, but not as old as Paul's .

How do you find a mated pair of True Percula Clown Fish?
Can a LFS order one pair?
Or is there some other way that I don't know about?
Or if I just buy two clowns, the more dominant one will change to a female?

It's not hard to mate them if the smaller one is submissive.
If you want a mating pair it's best to wait until someone female, then you're in trouble.
Thoug h for them to actually mate.

Perhaps mysis shrimp? http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-02/rs/ They are clear like mysis but they have a tail that thins out at the end so I dont think thats what they are .
