I've got the lexmark x4550 wireless printer on my local nextwork, it works
fine from my wife's windows machine. how do i connect to it from mandriva
2006? my linux box is o the wired portion of my nextwork, the printer is on
the same subnet but connected...

I had some problems with SuSE 10.1 on my Pentium, so I decided to try out Mandriva Linux Free.
It is great being able to install what I want (no servers!) instead of the installation program installing what it thinks you want and I did not have to reformat...

Compared to Mandriva Linux 2007 Free (which comes on 4 CD's for a change.
Seamonkey I eventually installed Mandriva Linux 2007 One (which comes on one CD) on the Pentium and had a working system just as quickly.

Depuis le dernier noyau 2.6.13 ou 2.6.14 et en Spring 2007 , les clefs Ovislink EVO-W54USBv2 sont reconnues (Chipset ralink) : elles ne coûtent que 19 EUROS ... Elles sont disponible rue Montgallet ou sur le NET .
Elle fonctionnent sur tous les Linux ...
