I am joining the "Balmoral" in Montego Bay in January and flying back from Rio de Janeiro in March. What charter airline is FOCL using these days? It's a couple of years since I took a fly-cruise with them. I have unfortunate memories of a terrible flight...

I have to say the flight was fine and the service was good.
Then clearing customs at Montego Bay wasn't very easier.
And then down the coast and so it was a long 10 hour flight.

Cheng and I just returned from celebrating my 60th birthday in the Maldives. We went with our friends, Jim and Janet, who we've accompanied on similar trips for each of our 60th birthdays.
The Maldives are a tiny island nation about 400 miles southwest...

The trip cost is actually pretty reasonable for 9 days (6 diving) on one of the worlds best liveaboards.
And it's a short, cheap flight from here to Cabo.
