Are the doors capable of swapping the guts from power to manual? I'll double check our 86's doors just change um to manual.

No, I believe it's supposed to go into the back of the ac/heater control that sits in the dash, below the radio. When you move the dash control knob to "Vent", or Defrost", that's what makes it move the doors.

The system can run a self diagnostic.
When you move the dash control knob to "Vent", or Defrost", that's what makes manual.
