It's time for a new starting battery. i am running 1198 and 998 birds and a 150 efi. at the end ot the day with the livewells going all day my interstate is starting to struggle. Has anyone tried an Odyssey Marine Dual Purpose Battery?

It is one fine battery, IMO.
Have not tried that battery, here is what I use, Cabela's AGM, Group 30, CCA 1205, MCA 1525, Res a Odyssey PC2150 since last spring.

Just to inform local boaters that there is a marine battery (deep cycle) thief who struck three to four boats in the Breton Bay neighborhood area over the past two weeks.

No complaints with it, I just use was good.
D I have the biggest deepcycle/marine battery from Costco.
In terms of keeping storage.
But it won't take the pounding that a high-end marine battery is designed to take.

So I have a quick question about using a trolling motor and battery in a small flat bottom boat. How long will the battery last? I won't be using it constantly but would use it to go a little ways from the launch. I am considering getting 2 batteries....

Are they just not that good a trolling motor battery are alowed so I use a minnkota maxx 52 TM on my 24' pontoon with 2 series 29 everstart MAXX Marine.

What type batteries do you use. My setup is 5.7 L chev about 260HP, I am running two batteries, one house battery for all accessories VHF, stereo, bilge pumps, anchor lights, etc the other is exclusively for starting, also using an isolator so batteries...

You want deep cells for the lights and cabin usage the battery for motor you need one for cranking deep cycle batteries isolated so it doesn't run down the starting battery.
