Are you still required to have a Licence to operate a VHF Marine Radio. I have had my ROC-M for a long time now but a couple of friends of mine were telling me that you do not need a Lic any more. ???

I replaced my original ipod pre-amp set up with a Clarion Marine CMS 1 Radio...which has a separate brain and controller. Its a major improvement! I would recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a 100% waterproof source unit.
